Anna Marie Hammett 77 of Urbana, OH formerly of Havana, IL. died on May 27, 2005 at her residence. She was born on November 21, 1927 in Poplar City, IL (Mason County) to Henry John Howell and Gladys Marie Mason. She married Frank V. Hammett, Sr. on January 24, 1945, he preceeded her in death. She has 3 sons- Frank (Laura) Hammett, Jr. of Urbana, OH., Robert (Yvonne) Hammett of Springfield, OH., and James L. Hammett of Urbana, OH.. One daughter Carolyn Sue (Donald) Cave of Urbana, OH.. 8 grandchildren- Joshua, Brandie, Johnathan, Macaella, LouAnne, Cherie Lynn, Rhonda & Ronald. 7 great-grandchildren- Brook, Javier, Mateo, Peyton, Dionisio, John & Bethany. She is also survived by 2 brothers- Ray Howell of Lewistown, IL., and Lawrence Howell of Durango, IL.. 2 sisters- Florence Burgett of Havana, IL., and Betty Gilmore of Havana, IL.. She was preceeded in death by her husband, parents, and 7 brothers and sisters. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. Services were held on June 2, 2005 at the Laurel Hill Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.. |
