George R. Dossett 56 of 18946 ECR 600 N. Box 148 Kilbourne, IL died July 30, 2005 at 7:20 p.m. at his residence. He was born on December 4, 1948 in Ashland, IL to Jesse James Dossett and Elizabeth Atwood. He married Amy Weber on March 14, 1998. He has 2 sons- James Dossett of Addison, IA., and Timothy Dossett of Geneva, IL., and 2 daughters- Lisa Norris of Geneva, IL., and Shelly Dossett of Geneva, IL., as we as several grandchildren. He also has one brother surviving- Jerome B. "Jerry" Dossett of Kilbourne, IL.. He was preceeded in death by 1 grandson and his parents. He was a member of the Havana VFW Post #6408 and the Tuesday Night Fireball League. He served in the United States Army and later was a laborer for Dana Corp. & Empire Gas in Oakford, IL until 1970. Services were held on August 2, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at kilbourne Cemetary. Memorials may be made to Military service by Havana VFW Post #6408 & American Legion. |
