Glenn Leroy Boehm 76 of 500 Main St. San Jose, IL died on July 28, 2005 at 12:02 a.m. at the Mason City Area Nursing Home. He was born October 30, 1928 in Oakford, IL to Oren Boehm and Eliza Gratton and married Donna Jane Johnson on January 18, 1958 in Oakford, IL. She died March 15, 1991. He has two sons- David Boehm of Mason City, IL. and Dennis Boehm of San Jose, IL.. Also surviving is one granddaughter- Sarah Jane Boehm and 2 step grandchildren. He is also survived by 4 sisters- Dorothy Helmig of Havana, IL., Eileen Keith of Havana, IL., Geraldine Gedman of Springfield, IL., and Alice Witherall of Havana, IL.. He was preceeded in death by two brothers- Clarence and Carl and his wife and parents. He served in the United States Army and later worked as a hand trucker for Caterpillar, INC. for 27 years and Retired in 1991. Services were held on August 1, 2005 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation on Sunday, July 31 from 5-8 p.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. |
