Lois Ruth Edwards 94 of 212 W. First Havana, IL. died on August 19, 2005 at 12:10 a.m. at the Havana Healthcare Center. She was born on September 11, 1910 in Browning, IL to John L. Sherrill and Nettie Laster. She married Jewell Edwards who preceeded her in death in 1955.

They had one son- Bill (Jackie) Edwards of Havana, IL., 2 daughters- Patricia France of Havana, IL. and Beverly Collins of Havana, IL and 1 step-daughter of Havana, IL. she also had 10 grandchildren as well as several great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by 2 brothers, 1 sister, 1 grandson and 1 step-daughter.

She was a homemaker and worked for DuRite Laundry for 20 years. She was also a member of the St. Barnabas Episcopal Church and a member of the AARP.

Services were held on Monday August 22, 2005 with an half hour before visitation at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Memorials may be made to Heart Fund.
