Lois I. Steveson

(1935-2005)

Lois Steveson of Mason City, died 11:28 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln, Illinois.  She was born January 25, 1935 to John and Georgia (Thompson) Gaddie in Sweetwater, Illinois.  She married Leo Steveson on June 27, 1952 in Greenview, Illinois.  He died December 12, 1999.

Survivors include two sons:  Larry (Angie) Steveson and Jim Steveson, both of Mason City, one daughter:  Linda S. (Marty) Fisher of Greenview, IL; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters:  Barb Renfro of Sherman, IL and Sue Kellams of Moselle, Mississippi.  She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Mrs. Steveson was a member of the Christian Church of Mason City and a homemaker.

Services for Mrs. Steveson will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2005 at the Christian Church in Mason City.  The Rev. Dustin Fulton and Rev. Robert Paddack will officiate with burial in Mason City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the services.  Memorial Contributions may be to the Christian Church of Mason City.
