Louise List (1919-2008) E. Louise List, 88, of Mason City died at 1:10pm, Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the Mason City Area Nursing Home. She was born February 8, 1919 in Mason City the daughter of William A. and Nona Y. (Hinegardner) Legg. She married Lyle List on September 4, 1949 in Mason City; he died February 12, 1978. Survivors are; one son: Lloyd (Kathy) List of Mason City; four grandchildren; one grandson-in-law; one brother: Joel Legg of Port Richey FL.; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. List is preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and three sisters. Mrs. List was a member of Mason City Christian Church, she sang in the church choir and was also a Deaconess for 20 years. She worked as a clerk at C.W. Johnson’s Clothing store. Services for Mrs. List will be 10:00am, Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the Mason City Christian Church, Rev. Bob Paddack and Rev. Joe Briseno will officiate. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 at Hurley Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mason City Cemetery. Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements.
