Mary J. Towery 81 of RR #2 262H Havana, IL. died on March 27, 2005 at 6:20 a.m. at Mason District Hospital-ER. She was born on February 10, 1924 in Camden, IL. to Earl Suddeth and Gladys Swisher. She married Paul C. Towery on November 21, 1942 in Palmyra, MO. and he survives.

She has on daughter- Marianne Huey of West Memphis, AR. and a niece and a nephew that also survive. She was preceded in death by one son and one brother.

She worked for the Department of Transportation.

Services were held on March 30, 2005 at Laurel Hill Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. with a visitation on March 29, 2005 from 6-8 p.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana.
