Lorraine G. Meyer, 81 of Petersburg died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 in Sunny Acres Nursing Home. Born February 12, 1930 to John Harold and Gladys Theresa (Jarvis) Meyer in Detroit, MI.

 Lorraine is survived by her Aunt Viola Spence; nieces; Nancy Wanger, Susan Ruff, Mary Finigan, Patricia Meyer and nephews; James Meyer and Joseph Meyer She is predeceased by her parents and brothers John H. Meyer, Charles F. Meyer, one nephew John M. Meyer and several great nieces, nephews and cousins.

 A graveside service will be Monday, August 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery in Springfield with the Rev. John Titus officiating. Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg assisted the family.
