Michael Westerfeld

Michael Ryan Westerfeld, 30, of Loami passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2011.  He was born on October 6, 1981 in Springfield to Donald Lowe and Margaret Westerfeld.

He is survived by his son, Chase Westerfeld of Loami; fiancé, Jennifer Valentine of Loami; mother, Margaret (Tom) Edwards of Fowler, Indiana; brother, Jared Westerfeld of Fowler, Indiana; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Westerfeld had worked as a heavy machine operator.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 11:00 am at Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg with Pastor Jeffrey Gross officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011 from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
