Nora McCue
(1925-2008) Nora McCue, 82, of Mason City died at 2:43 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2008 at her residence. She was born September 17, 1925 the daughter of Joseph Andrew Willard and Vida Lee Dooley. She married Gilbert Lee McCue December 16, 1950. He preceded her in death. Survivors are one cousin Alice Wiley of Lexington, MO; three nieces: Patti (Roger) Caluette of Georgetown, TX, Jackie (Joe) Sater of Plymouth, MN, Sondra (Doug) Franks of Delevan, IL. Also surviving is her extended family: Margaret Lynn of Mason City, Jim (Jean) Lynn of Lincoln, IL, Frank (Linda) Lynn of Mason City and Dale (Becky) Lynn of Mason City. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Nora was a member of the Flower City Chapter #152 of Springfield, IL. She retired in 1987 as an Accountant at Harper Oil Co. Services will be at 11:00am, Monday, January 21, 2008 at Hurley Funeral Home, burial at Mason City Cemetery, Pastor Joe Briseno will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Memorial contributions may be left to First Christian Church or Memorial Home Services Hospice. Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements.
