Robert Clyde Baughman 52 of 515 N. Pearl St. Havana, IL 62644 died on June 9, 2005 at 8:40 p.m. at Mason District Hospital in Havana. He was born on August 13, 1952 in Yuma, AZ to Clyde E. Baughman and Nina P. Moore, his mother Nina Wolverton of Havana survives. He married Di Neeley on July 19, 1974 and she survives. He has one son Rob Baughman of Manito, IL., and one daughter Mrs. Joey (Danielle) Lowe of Havana, IL.. He has one grandson - Dalton Lowe. He is also survived by 1 brother- James E. Baughman of Havana, IL., and 3 sisters- Lou Hopkins of Hobart, IN., Pat Grindle of Havana, IL., and Martha Chapman of Havana, IL.. He was preceeded in death by one brother- Bruce Baughman and one sister- Etta Bozman. He was a member of the Covenant Community Fellowship Church where he was also a Deacon, a volunteer at New Salem, and a Civil War Reenactor for over 20 years. He also served in the military. He worked for the Havana Police Department for 24 years. Services were held on June 13, 2005 at the Covenant Community Fellowship at 11:00 a.m. with a visition on Sunday June 12 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana from 6-8 p.m.. Memorials may be made to his church, Mason District Hospital, or Springfield Clinic Chemo Room. |
