Stephen Thomas

(1952-2011)

Stephen R. Thomas, 59, of Petersburg passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born on April 11, 1952 in Springfield to Elmer and Mary (Barbee) Thomas. He married Vicki Williams in Petersburg in 1979.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki of Petersburg; two daughters, Teresa Johnson and Carol (Phil) Moore; two sons, Jeremie (Daphne) Ingram and Stephen Ingram; his parents; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Beverly (Tom) Raikes; and two brothers, Bruce Thomas and Scott (Roberta) Thomas.

Mr. Thomas was an accountant for 35 years and had farmed in the local area.  He was a beloved and honored man, and will truly be missed.
