Barbara Trabue 1947-2008
Barbara Trabue, 70, of Mason City died at 8:50pm, Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born November 30, 1947 in Springfield, IL the daughter of Howard and Willa Mae (Krell) McGown. She married Jerry Trabue on December 10, 1965 at the Methodist Church in Mason City, he survives. Survivors are: Tim (Patti) Trabue of Mason City, Jill (Anthony) Nation of Mason City, Matt Trabue and Greg Harrell of St. Louis, MO, Sarah (Seth) Merritt of Fayetteville, NC. Five grandchildren: Taylor, Cory and Ross Trabue, Brielle and Trent Nation. One Sister: Jean (Jim) Lynn of Lincoln, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Trabue was a member of the Mason City United Methodist Church. Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the Mason City Christian Church. Visitation will be held from 4-6. Nash Shawgo will officiate. Cremation rite will be accorded. Hurley funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements.
