Verna E. M. Bahl 87 of 302 E. Market St. Havana, IL. died July 11, 2005 at 2:20 p.m. at Mason District Hospital in Havana, IL.. She was born on February 27, 1918 in Havana, IL to Fred W. C. Bahl and Elizabeth Oest and never married. She is survived by one sister- Leona H. C. Bahl of Havana, IL., and preceeded in death by one infant brother- Melvin and her parents. She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Bath, IL.. She worked at NuWay & DuRite Laundry for 25 years and also worked as a caregiver for the elderly. Services were held on July 14, 2005 at the St. John's Lutheran Church at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation on Wednesday, July 13 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana, IL. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church. |
