Wilbur D. Pierson 70 of 842 N. Broadway Havana, IL died on April 3, 2005 at 5:25 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.. He was born on July 6, 1934 in Havana, IL to Calvin Pierson and Mabel Taylor. He married Anna French on April 4, 1953 in Havana, IL. she survives.

He has 6 daughters- Jamie Pierson of Havana, IL., Karen Bridges of Havana, IL., Mrs. Chubby (Debbie) Richardson of Bath, IL., Mrs. Al (Jodi) Landry of Bath, IL., Mrs. Pat (Laura)j Ebert of Lewistown, IL., Mrs. Brian (Jennie) Stilts of New Castle, IN.. He has 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are 2 brothers- Larry "Buck" (Ruth) Pierson of Havana, IL., Donnie Lippert of Mason City, IL., 4 sisters- Loretta Hurt of Havana, IL., Coleen (Frank) Otto of Lewistown, IL., Sharon (Wayne) Richardson of Beardstown, IL., Dixie Watkins of Havana, IL.. He was preceded in death by one daughter-Cathy Picken, 2 infant sisters, one sister- Shirley Kelley, one brother- Charles "Butch" Lippert.

He worked as a Crane Operator for Atwood & Dana Corp. Retired 1981.

Services were held on April 7, 2005 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana, IL. with a visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana, IL..
