William B. Lyons 98 of 3408 W. Washington, Apt 310 Springfield, IL. died on March 26, 2005 at 11:25 a.m. at his residence. He was born on April 23, 1906 in Brook, Indiana to Fred Lyons and Laura Esson. He married Evelyn "Wave" Shirley on September 17, 1939 in Havana, IL., she died in November 27, 2000.

He had one son- William B. "Bill" (Wendy) Lyons of Springfield, IL. and granddaughters- Jennifer Gardner & Rachael Jachino and great-grandchildren- Daniel, Isabel, & Mary Claire Gardner, Caroline Wave & Gabriel Jachino. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

He was a member of the Central Christian Church, Havana Optimist Club, Lakewood Golf Assoc., Former School Board and Library Board Member, Sigma Nu.

He was Manager at Continental Grain in Havana for over 35 years.

Services were held on March 30, 2005 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana, at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation from 1-2 p.m. on March 30 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana.
