Alma Eileen Bramwell (1933-2005) A. Eileen Bramwell, 71 of Lincoln and a long time resident of Mason City, died Monday, 30 May 2005 at her home following a battle with cancer. She was born 5 December 1933 to Fred and Florence (Bantz) Onken in Mason County. She married Robert Bramwell on 1 May 1954 in Lincoln, IL. He died 25 May 1987. Survivors include one son: Frank (Victoria) Bramwell of Lincoln, IL; one daughter: Roberta Bender of Sherman, IL; 2 brothers, Fred "Fritz" (Betty) Onken of Mason City and Bob Onken of Quincy, IL; one sister: Rosanna Powers of Havana, IL; and 6 grandchildren: Traci, Amy, Seth, and Luke Bramwell, and Jessie and Ashley Bender. Preceding her in death are her parents and a sister, Marjorie Lockenour. Mrs. Bramwell was a nurse's aid at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln for 20 years and in the past 5 years worked part time at the Elks Club in Lincoln. She was a member of First Christian Church of Mason City, American Legion Auxillary of Lincoln, and the Lincoln Emblem Club. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, 3 June 2005 at Mason City Christian Church. Burial will be in Mason City Cemetery with the Rev. Dustin Fulton and Rev. Robert Paddack officiating. A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Mason City Christian Church. |
