Havana, IL - Aaron J. "Big P" Pettet, 24 of Matanza Beach, Havana, IL died at 11:45 am Fri., May 19, 2006 in the emergency room of Mason District Hospital in Havana. He was born Feb. 3, 1982 in Canton, IL the son of Glenn E. and Kay Skiles Pettet. His parents survive.

An avid St. Louis Cardinal and Illini fan he loved to golf and fish. He was a commercial well driller by trade.

He is also survived by one sister, Ashley Pettet of Bath, IL and one niece. His grandparents, Roger and Deloras Skiles of Ipava, IL survive along with and aunt and uncle, Richard and Tina Seymour of Beardstown.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana with burial to follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 pm Monday at the funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made to a trust fund for his niece, Karlie, in care of the Havana National Bank.
