Alice Robertson (1922-2005) Alice Robertson, 83, of Mason City, IL died at the Mason City Area Nursing Home at 9:55 p.m. on December 18, 2005. She was born to Otto and Clara (Riepe) Zeck, May 14, 1922 in Mason City. She married Wayne R. Robertson on October 5, 1942 in Palmyra, MO. He died October 17, 2004. She is survived by one son Ron (Patricia) of Mason City, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, five brothers, one sister and one great grandson. She was a member of the Mason City Christian Church. She was former member of the Broadwell Community Group which put on plays for children as well as serving monthly luncheons. She worked at the Smoler Brothers Lincoln Garment Factory and at Knoles Gardens in Mason City for several years. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, also at the funeral home. Nash Shawgo will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Alice Robertson Memorial Fund. Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements. |
