Alleen Marquerite Sublett 1917 - 2006 Alleen Marquerite (Huffman) Sublett, 89 formerly of San Jose died at 6:30pm Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at Sterling Pavilion Nursing Home in Sterling, Illinois. She was born August 12, 1917 in Menard County to George and Sybil (Carrick) Huffman. She married H. Frank Sublett September 4, 1938 in Mason City. He died February 13, 1994. Mrs. Sublett is survived by one son: Richard (Judy) Sublett of Decatur; one daughter: Joyce (Dan) Haley of Harmon; her grandchildren: Kristin (Jim) Musgrave of Bloomington, Il, Noelle Sublett, Jennifer Sublett, both of Springfield, Il, Yekaterina Sublett, Frank Sublett both of Decatur, Tamara (Geoff) Kelly of Bettendorf, IA, Cynthia (Josh) Wiley of Lincoln, NE, Chad (Kim) Haley of Prophetstown, Il, Kaitlin Haley of Beloit, WI, and Ross Haley of Harmon, Il: her great-grandchildren: Riley Kelly and Braedon Kelly both of Bettendorf, IA, and Chad N. Haley of Prophetstown, Il; her brother Chandler (Jo Anne) Huffman of Eugene, OR, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sublett was a homemaker, a member of San Jose United Methodist Church, actively involved in Mason County Home Extension, Natrona Community Club, and was a leader in San Jose Tri-Ettes 4-H Club. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Nicholas Haley of Normal, Il, one brother: George Huffman; two sisters: Mary (Mike) Hoskins and Rosalie (Bill) Lester. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 21, 2006 at San Jose United Methodist Church at 11:00 am, visitation will be Wednesday 5-7pm at the Hurley Funeral Home in San Jose Memorial Contributions may be made to the San Jose United Methodist Church.
