Alvin Clarence "Jack" Dierker, 85, of Mason City IL. formerly of Havana IL., died February 28, 2005 at Mason District Hospital in Havana. He was born on February 9, 1920 to Fred Dierker and Viola Shaffer. He was never married.

 He was a retired park employee for the city of Havana. He was a member of the American Legion Post #138 also a member of the Moose Lodge in Canton IL., and the Goofy Ridge Sportsman's Club. He also served in the United States Air Force during WWII.

He is survived by two cousins.

Preceding him in death are his parents, one brother- Bill, and he stepmother-Edna Dierker.

Funeral services will be held on March 2, 2005 at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana IL., at 1:00 pm There will be no visitation. Burial will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana IL.
