Anna Marie Heyen (1957-2008) Havana, IL - Anna Marie Heyen, 51, of Havana passed away at 7:20 am Thurs., Dec. 18, 2008 at the Mason District Hospital in Havana. She was born July 11, 1957 in Springfield, IL the daughter of Thomas and Janice Dale Hardesty. She married Marlon Heyen Nov. 12, 1977 in Havana and he survives. Mrs. Heyen was a para professional for the Havana Schools where she had worked for 25 years. She was formerly a bus driver and currently working at the Grade School as a para professional. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Havana, AFT (American Federation of Teachers), and was active in local plays with a group called phat ladies. Mrs. Heyen is survived by her mother, Janice Hardesty of Havana, her husband Marlon, one son, Matthew (Amy) Heyen of Kilbourne, IL and two grandchildren; Paige and Samantha. Also surviving are one sister; Angela (Danny) Smith of Havana, one brother Thomas (Dianna) Hardesty of Havana, three nephews, seven nieces, two great nieces and two great nephers. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and father. Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, Dec. 22, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Havana. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 pm Sunday at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.
