Anna Mae Knoles

1919-2010

Anna Mae Knoles, 90, of Mason City died at 9:03 p.m. on April 14, 2010 at the Mason City Area Nursing Home.  She was born on December 26, 1919 the daughter of Roy and Enid (Black) Hess in Mason City, IL.  She married G. Kenneth Knoles on January 4, 1938, he preceded her in death. 

Survivors are one son: Kenneth (Mary Ann) Knoles of Mason City.  Three grandchildren: Amy (Keith) Sikir of Camby, IN, Tracy (Marc) Tiritilli of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Kevin Knoles of Mason City.  Two great-grandchildren: Molly Whitley of Camby, IN and Miranda Tiritilli of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one daughter. 

Anna Mae was a member of the United Presbyterian Church.  She was also a florist in Mason City for many years.   

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City.  Visitation will start at 11:00 a.m. Nash Shawgo will be officiating.  Cremation rites will be accorded.  Burial will be at the Mason City Cemetery at a later date.  Memorials may be left to the Mason City Food Pantry or Mason City Area Nursing Home.  Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements.
