Arnold W. Williamson

1926 - 2010

Easton, IL- Arnold W. Williamson, 84, of Easton, passed away at 8:20 pm Sat. June 19, 2010 at the Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. He was born April 30, 1926 in Easton the son of George W. And Minnie Budke Williamson. He married Carolyn Otten, April 4, 1956 in Petersburg, IL and she passed away March 30, 1989.

Mr. Williamson was a Life member of the Easton Optimist Club, a life member of the North Pekin Amvets, a member of the Mason County Farm bureau and had previously served as a board member. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War.

He is survived by one son, Mike (Brenda) Williamson of Petersburg, one daughter, Susie ( Troy) Altig of Easton, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and an infant sister.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wed. June 23, 2010 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana conducted by Revs. Al Sample and Judy Vidakovich. Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery at Havana. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
