Arpie Lee Wilson, 77, of Petersburg died Monday February 5, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield .

He was born May 18, 1929 in Christian county IL . the son of Arpie Lee and Dorothy Mae Fremgen Wilson.  He married Barbara Davis in 1959.

Mr. Wilson retired as an electronic engineer, and owned and operated Wilson ’s T.V. in Edinburg , IL . he also helped to construct casino’s and bowling alleys in Las Vegas Nv .

He was a member of Bethel Baptist church in Edinburg , he was a WW II Army veteran and a past member of the Elks Club in Taylorville , IL .

Surviving are his wife Barbara of Petersburg, two sisters Natalie Lumb of Taylorville, and Mauris Alexander of Indiana .

One brother and two sisters precede him in death.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg is in charge of arrangements.
