Barbara Lynn Hedden 1959 - 2007 Barbara Lynn Hedden, 48 of Havana died at 8:40am, Saturday, December 15, at Mason District Hospital, Havana, Illinois. She was born February 14, 1959 the daughter of Marvin Frese of Topeka, Illinois, Carol (Cameron) Petty, and Dean Petty of Havana, Illinois. She married Douglas E. Hedden on September 24, 1977 at Havana, Illinois, all survive. Surviving are one son Joseph Hedden of Canton, Illinois and one brother Gary Petty of Havana, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Mrs. Hedden of the Christian Faith, owned and operated the Teddy Bear ceramic shop in Havana for years with her husband. She was employed with the Mason County Democrat where she delivered papers for 20 years, and also sold Tupperware and Avon products. Mrs. Hedden was a graduated from Havana High School in 1977. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana at 11:00am. Rev. Kevin Van-Tine and Warren Hughes will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana from 5-7pm. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana, Illinois. Memorials can be made out to donor’s choice.
