Easton, IL - Kent E. Berg, 56, of Easton, IL passed away at 8:06 pm Thurs., Oct. 8, 2009 at OSF St. Francis in Peoria, IL. He was born Dec. 13, 1952 in Canton, IL the son of Charles and Marie M. Miller Berg.
He is survived by one brother, Mike (Fay) Berg of Havana. His parents preceded him in death.
He was an avid bowler and fisherman. He was retired from Caterpillar, Inc after 35 years for medical reasons. He had also owned and operated Bergs small engine repair in Havana for several years.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Monday at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Cremations rites will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.hurleyfh.com
