Betty Ann Bailey

(1921-2011)

Betty Ann Bailey, 90, of Girard, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2011 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born on March 20, 1921 in Greenview to Harry and Virgie Greenwald Boske. She married Robert Bailey in Pawnee on November 24, 1945.

  Her daughter, Gloria Bailey of Springfield; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild survive her.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, John Boske.

  Betty had been a nurse and she loved her bunnies.

  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 11:00 am at Hurley Funeral Home in Greenview. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral services. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
