Betty Burch

Betty June Burch, 67, of Tallula, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at her residence. She was born on September 4, 1943 in Springfield to George and Ruth Mohr.

She is survived by five children, Ron, Scott, and Theresa Brake, Eldon Burch and Lisa (Burch) Gondek; her mother, Ruth Mohr; one brother, George Mohr; four sisters, Nancy Gathard, Jeannie Baskett, Patricia Carmody, and Carol Mohr; ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Her father, and one sister, Marilyn Bales, preceded her in death.

Betty worked as a secretary for Attorney Warren Danz in Springfield. She was a member of Rock Creek Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Rock Creek Presbyterian Church in Tallula. Rev. Dave Daniels will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. also at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Springfield. A meal will be held at Rock Creek Presbyterian Church following the burial at approximately 2:00 p.m.
