Joseph William "Bill" Furkin (1941 - 2005) Joseph William Furkin, 64, died Saturday, October 29, 2005 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. He was born to Howard and Maude (Ervin) Furkin in Exie, KY on July 13, 1941. He married Joy Anne Wiggers in Canton on Dec. 2, 1968. Survivors are his mother of Lincoln, IL , two brothers: Howard “Ted” Furkin of Mesa, AZ and R. D. “Don” Furkin of Peoria Heights, IL, 4 nieces and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, wife Joy, and one brother. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City. Visitation will be held two hours prior at the funeral home. Burial of cremains will be at Mason City Cemetery at a later date. Nash Shawgo will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Mason City Assembly of God. Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements. |
