Bonnie M. Strader

(1928 - 2006)

Bonnie M. Strader, 77, of Mason City died at 9:21 a.m., Friday, February 17, 2006 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. She was born November 14, 1928 at Salt Creek Twp. In Mason County to Ed and Effie (Hagen) Schulz. She married Floyd D. Strader on February 28, 1948. He died February 14, 1995.

She is survived by one son, Les (Lynn) Strader of Elsberry, MO; four daughters, Patty (Mike Cleary) Hopp of Mason City,  Cathy (Bill) Nunn of Easton, Karen (Jay) Schertz of Morton, Sharon (Rick) Craigmiles of Mason City; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother Herbert (Virginia) Schulz of Hull, IL and three sisters, Edna Loy and Eva Mae Bitner both of Peoria and Imogene Schneider of Mason City. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and one grandchild.  

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City with visitation one hour before the service. Rev. Robert Paddack will officiate. Burial will be at Mason City Cemetery.
