Brian John Towery

1975 - 2010

Brian John Towery, 34, of Scottsdale, AZ, formerly of Havana, passed away on May 18, 2010 at his home. He was born May 22, 1975 in Canton, IL to Don and Janice (Heffren) Towery.

Brian is survived by his son Nathaniel John Scott "J.T." Towery of Arizona, his parents of Standford, KY, 2 sisters, Lori (Dan) Scott of Schaumburg, IL, Amber (Mike) Joplin of Raleigh, NC, his grandmother, Lois Heffren of Lewistown, IL, one nephew, Hayden of Raleigh and one niece, Katie of Schaumburg. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Beulah Towery, John Heffren and one nephew, Harrison.

Brian worked in Arizona as an airplane mechanic. He had just graduated from junior college with an Associate’s Degree. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving from 1993 until 2001.

Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 1:30 p.m., also at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Rev. Martin W. Liebmann Jr. will officiate.
