Carlos G. Bubert

1931 - 2011

Carlos G. Bubert, 79, of Havana, passed away at Havana Health Care at 12:20 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2011.  He was born May 23, 1931 in Easton to Carl and Dorothy(Nance) Bubert.  He was married to Kathryn Louise Bubert in Havana on August 28, 1954.

Mr. Bubert is survived by his wife, Kathryn, of Havana, one son, Robin (Mary) Bubert of Easton, one daughter, Bonnie (Dan) Gunter of Havana, as well as five step-grandchildren and twelve step-great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister. Carlos served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5:00 until 7:00p.m., also at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the services at Easton Cemetery.  Rev. Brian Lesemann will officiate. 

Memorials can be left to Alzhiemers or Humane Society, and also the Stroke program at Mason District Hospital.
