Carlton Lee Theissen Jr., 51, of Topeka, passed away at his home at 9:35 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2011. He was born February 14, 1960 in Spokane, WA to Carlton and Donna (Boldt) Theissen, Sr.

Carl is survived by his mother, Donna Hayes of Topeka, son Carlton Theissen III of Streator, IL, sister, Carla (Mike) Case of Havana, nephew, Scott (Stacey) Blackwell of Sherrard, three nieces, Brenda Wilcoxen of Springfield, Jamie Blackwell of Havana, Mackenzie Case of Havana, four granddaughters, 1 great-niece, 2 great nephews and one special son, Adam Stuart Smith. He was preceded in death by his father.

Carl had worked in the Chicagoland area for many years before retiring to rural Havana. He was a Cubs fan, enjoyed NASCAR and cheered for Dale Earnhardt.

Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2011. Private family services will be held at a later date.
