House, 55, Beloved wife of Gary House of
Bath passed away at 1:20 pm Tues., Nov.
18, 2008 at her residence. She was born Oct. 10,
1953 in
Springfield, IL the daughter of Earl J.
and Betty Lou Haycraft Huddleston. She married
Gary C. House May 15, 1998 in
Decatur, IL and he survives.Carol
loved the fun things in life having recently
traveled to
South Dakota and
Wyoming with Gary on their Harley. She
was the light of his life. She worked for the
State of Illinois inner Governmental Affairs for
25 years and most recently worked for Illinois
Department of Agriculture.
She leaves to miss her dearly her mother,
Betty Lou Blankenship and step-father Melvin
Blankenship of Bath, IL; one daughter, Jennifer
(Brian) Reese of
Havana, one step-son; Jason House of
Decatur, IL and one step-dau; Melissa (Larry)
Meredith of Bethany, IL. Also surviving are four
grandchildren which are two sets of twins, three
step grandchildren, one sister Barbara A. Esela
of
St. Petersburg, FL and one brother, Earl
J.
Huddleston, Jr of
Florida. She was preceded in death by her
father.
Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday,
Nov. 21, 2008 at the Hurley Funeral Home in
Havana conducted by Rev. Sidney Davis. Burial
will be in the Bath Cemetery. Visitation will be
held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday at the
funeral home. Memorial contributions may
be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
