Havana, IL - Charles E. "Chick" Pedigo,71, of 624 S. Pearl St., Havana, IL died at 10:02 am Sun. March 5, 2006 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. He was born Sept. 25, 1934 in Fulton County, IL the son of Robert L. and Mildred C. Hughes Pedigo. He married Edith Shawgo Aug. 11, 1950 in St. Louis, MO and she survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Kerry (Linda) Pedigo of Havana; Bruce (finacee: Patti) Pedigo of Lewistown and one daughter Lisa (David) Scully of Cincinnati, OH. Eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one brother, Robert (Jo) Pedigo of Havana and three sisters, Della Moore of Havana, Margaret Wright of Lewistown and Patricia Winkles of Notis, Idaho also survive. He was preceded in death by one son, Patrick and his parents.

Mr. Pedigo was a member of the Bricklayers and alied craftworkers local #8 of Champaign for 56 years where he formerly served as president. He also was a member of Havana Post #6408 VFW and Havana Lodge #88 AF & AM.

Services will be held Thurs. March 9, 2006 at 10:30 am at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana conducted by Rev. Robert Smith. Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery at Havana. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Wed. At the Hurley Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation. A lunch will follow the services at Havana Post #6408 VFW.
