Clara Belle Hall 1926 - 2008 Havana, IL - Clara Belle Hall, 81, of Havana passed away at 1:34 am Thurs., March 27, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. She was born Oct. 3, 1926 near Spring Lake in Tazewell County the daughter of Charles B. and Clara Elizabeth Vance Petty. She married James L. Perkins in 1946 in Mason County and he preceded her in death. She married Asa A. Hall July 28, 1956 in Havana and he died May 7, 1982. Mrs. Hall was of the protestant faith and for many years was a CNA and did home health care, She is survived by six daughters; Margie (Lynn) Mason of Havana, Mary (Robin) Bubert of Easton, IL, Joyce Allen of Canton, IL, Pam Richardson of Bath, IL, Vivian (Marty) Angel of Beardstown, IL, Tammie Baldry of Dunfermline, IL, and one son, Charles (Shelly) Hall of Havana. Twenty-five grandchildren, forty-eight great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren also survive along with three sisters, Beulah Haage of Tucson, AZ, Eva Flaharty of Havana, Marilyn Shafer of Pekin, IL and five brothers, Russell Petty of Forest City, IL, Lyle Petty of Havana, James Petty of Bishop, IL, Charles Petty, Jr of Olathe, KS, and Dean Petty of Havana. Many nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. She was preceded in death by her husbands, 2 sons, DeWayne Perkins and and an infant, one grandson, Brady Bennett and one sister Lillian Bassett, and three sister-in-laws, Lorraine Petty, Lois Petty and Dora Petty. Services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 pm :Monday at the funeral home and memorial contributions may be made to the Burn Unit of Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
