Claudia S. Riner 1954 - 2008 Havana, IL - Claudia S. Riner, 54, of Havana passed away at 3:40 pm Nov. 19, 2008 at the Mason District Hospital in Havana. She was born Sept. 12, 1954 in Beardstown, IL the daughter of Edward M. "Mitch" and Stella V. McDannald Smith. She married Bill Riner Sept. 22, 1987 in Havana and he survives. She is survived by four sons; H. Wayne (Amy) Smith of Morton, IL, Billy Mac (Jonie) Riner of Chandlerville, IL; Andy Riner of Macomb, IL and Daniel Riner of Havana and one daughter, Tiffany Riner of Havana. Two grandchildren, James D. Riner and Arianna J. Riner both of Chandlerville survive along with one sister, Katherine J. (Fred) Santiago of Evansville, IL and two brothers, Edward M. (Cammy) Smith of Havana and Daniel (Angie) Smith of Havana. She was preceded in death by her mother. Mrs. Riner's family will hold a memorial service at 3:00 pm Sunday at the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Following the service a celebration of life service will be held at the VFW Post #6408 in Havana. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements. |
