M. Claudine Pepmeyer
1928 - 2011

M. Claudine Pepmeyer, daughter of John and Mary (Snyder) Blair passed away at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2011 at the Havana HealthCare Center. She was born April 5, 1928 in Cass County, Illinois. On July 13, 1946, she married Alvin Pepmeyer.
Claudine leaves her husband, Alvin, of Havana, one daughter, Donna (Danial) Johnson of Havana, two grandchildren, Rod “Spud” Lane and Stephanie “Sis” Lane as well as five great-grandchildren, sister, Eleanor Sandidge of Chandlerville, and brothers, Paul “Duke” Blair and Edison “Red” Blair, both of Chandlerville. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Frank and Willis “Bub” Blair and two sisters, Doris and Beulah.
Claudine was a member of the Havana Church of Christ. She had volunteered as a Pink Lady at Mason District Hospital. She was a member of the Havana Women’s Club and Peterville Birthday Club. She was very talented with crafts and handiwork.
Funeral services will be held at the Havana Church of Christ at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Warren Hughes will officiate.
