Connie Chambers-Baca 1952 - 2007
Connie E. Chambers-Baca, 55, of Petersburg died on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at St. Johns Hospital. She was born on August 31, 1952 in Springfield to Allen and Jeanenne Fields Chambers. She is survived by her father, Allen Chambers of Petersburg; her sister, Janet (husband Bob) Miller of Springfield; an aunt and uncle, Sue and Gene Koehney of Chandlerville; one niece, two nephews and several cousins. Her mother and an infant brother preceded her in death. Connie had worked for the Illinois Department of Revenue for 27 years. Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg is in charge of arrangements.
