Connie L. Burgett Demonbrun

1934 - 2010

Connie Burgett Demonbrun, 76, of Havana, passed away at OSF-St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria at 11:03 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2010. She was born, May 10, 1934 to Thomas Henry and Ruth May (Bassett) Burgett.

Mrs. Demonbrun is survived by one daughter, Gina (Jeff) Mibbs, grandson,  Denny Duckwiler and one brother, Harold "Jack" (Audrey) Burgett, all of Havana. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Don, Richard, Bob, Tom and Denny Burgett and two sisters, Florene Budyn and Ruth Ann Jimenez.

Mrs. Demonbrun had worked as a cook and as a caregiver for the elderly.

Funeral services will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 3, 2010. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.  Rev. Darrell Auten will officiate. Burial will follow the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.
