Daisy M. Krause 1915 - 2008 Havana, IL - Daisy M. Krause, 93, of Havana passed away at 12:53 pm Tues., Sept. 9, 2008 at the Havana Healthcare Center. She was born in Mason County, July 15, 1915 the daughter of William G. and Frieda Hermann Devermann. She married Julius J. Krause Dec. 16, 1933 at St. John’s Lutheran Church near Topeka, IL and he preceded her in death July 24, 1992. Mrs. Krause is survived by two sons, Kenneth (Brenda) Krause and Ronald (Joyce) Krause both of Easton, IL; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Havana, a charter member of the Mason County Home Extension, the Easton Woman’s Club and St. Paul’s Ladies Aid. Services will be held at 11:30 am Friday, Sept. 12, 2008 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church conducted by Pastor Martin W. Liebmann. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at her church (from 10:30 until 11:30 am). Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery at Havana. Memorial contributions may be made to her church, Riverview Estates, or Havana Healthcare Patient Activity Fund. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements.
