He was born,
May 12, 1938
at his family farm in rural Mason County, IL to Walter and Katie (Hilst) Urish.
He married Darlene Gregory on
July 31, 1960
at
St. John’s
Lutheran
Church
at
Topeka
,
IL
. She survives.
Mr. Urish is survived by his wife, one son Timothy Dale
(Deborah) Urish of Kilbourne, IL and one daughter Jennifer (J.R.) Onken of
Easton, IL. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Nicholas, Gavin and Eileen
Urish of Kilbourne and Justin and Jessica Onken of
Easton
. He was preceded in death by his parents and four older brothers.
Mr. Urish was a member of
St. John’s
Lutheran
Church
at
Bath
,
IL
where he was also the Secretary of the congregation. He was a member of Mason
County Pork Producers, Mason County Farm Bureau, Biggs Elevator Director, Ag. of
the Past and a past livestock superintendent at the
Mason
County
4-H Fair. He served in the U.S. Army from 1961 – 1963. He had farmed for the
past 43 years.
Funeral services will be held at his church on
Monday, October 23, 2006
at
10:00 a.m.
Visitation will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana on Sunday evening
from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at Green Valley Cemetery following the
services. Rev. Brian Lesemann will officiate.

Bath
, or to the Mason District Hospital
Cardiac Rehab Program.
Hurley Funeral Home in
