David Klauzer

(1933-2010)

David Klauzer, 76, of Petersburg passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Menard Convalescent Center. He was born on November 7, 1933 in Staunton, IL to Joseph and Ellen Jones Klauzer.

 A brother, Clifford Klauzer of Oakford and a sister, Lottie Mumbower of Edwardsville, survives him.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Joseph Klauzer; and two sisters, Mary Evelyn Rasiner and twin sister Grace Kaptrosky.

Mr. Klauzer worked for the YMCA in Springfield as a janitor. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 2, 2010 at 10:00 am at Oakford Cemetery. Rev. Bob Driggers will be officiating.
