William "Butch" Dawson, Jr.

William “Butch” Samuel Dawson, Jr., of Oakford, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at his residence. He was born on November 13, 1962 in Springfield to William, Sr. and Helen Joan (Duncheon) Dawson.

He is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Dawson of Oakford; two sisters, Cathy Garner of Chandlerville and Theresa Callahan of Bloomington; and one brother, David Dawson of Beloit, Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Dawson was a truck driver for Russ Hinrichs Trucking.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 11:00 am at Oakford Cemetery. Father James Palakudy will be officiating.
