I. Dean Bowman

1922 - 2006

Easton, IL - I. Dean Bowman, 84, of Easton, IL and LaBelle, FL passed away Wed. July 12, 2006 at 10:08 am at his residence. He was born April 29, 1922 near Easton to Amos A. and Maude E. Estep Bowman. He married Cherie "Jeanne" Lowe Oct. 20, 1944 in Mason City and she died March 13, 1998.

Dean is survived by six daughters; Ruth Ann Blodgett of Farminton, IL; Sandy Finn of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; Peggy Thomas of Mason City, IL; Linda Lynn of Springfield, IL; Robin Chambers of Easton, IL and Dena Hamilton of Springfield, IL. Seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and 1 sister.

Mr. Bowman was a farmer and worked at Caterpiller, Inc as a fork life operator for many years. He is a member of the Easton United Methodist Church and the Caterpillar retirees.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sat., July 15, 2006 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana conducted by Rev. Al Sample with burial in the Easton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Easton United Methodist Church.
