John Dearth (1935-2008)
John Richard Dearth, 72 of Easton died at 12:43pm, Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at his residence. He was born December 28, 1935 the son of Richard and Jo (Layer) Dearth in Pekin. He married Ann Culler November 6, 1971, she survives. Survivors are his wife: Ann; two daughters: Debbie Lee of Pekin, Debra Roberts of Roy, Washington; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Dearth is preceded in death by one sister. Mr. Dearth was a member of the Eagles Club, Moose Lodge of Lincoln and past member of Jackson-Keen Post #496. He was a carpenter/construction worker. Services for Mr. Dearth will be 10:30am, Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City, Nash Shawgo will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 also the funeral home. Memorials may be left to Donor’s Choice. Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements. Online memorials may be left at www.hurleyfh.com
