Delores Doyen (1931 -2009) Delores Anne Doyen, 78, of Taylorville, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on February 6, 1931. She married John Doyen, Sr. She is survived by a son, Michael Doyen of Petersburg; a daughter, Marcia Allen of Charlotte, NC; a sister, Marilyn King of Nashville, IL; a brother, Edward Luttrel of Springfield; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Her parents, John and Velia Gellerman; her husband; a brother, Donald Luttrel; and two sons, John Martin and Monte James, preceded her in death. She used to do assembly work at Christian County Mental Health. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 11:00 am at Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg. Rev. Jon Bormann will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Christian County Mental Health Association.
