Havana, IL - Dennis Dixon Foster, 55, of Havana died at 12:24 pm Mon., March 26, 2007 at OSF St. Francis in Peoria. He was born April 9, 1951 in Canton, IL the son of Beverly D. "B.D." and Faith Shawgo Foster.
Mr. Foster was the owner of Foster’s Heating and Air Conditioning in Havana. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, a member of Havana Post #6408 VFW, an avid camper, he loved landscaping and gardening and his coy fish ponds.
He is survived by his parents of Havana, his fiancee, Stephanie Bax of Havana, one son, Joshua (Nathania) Foster of Springfield, IL; one daughter, Kylie Foster of Havana, two grandsons, Elijah and Lathan Foster, one brother, Greg (Jan) Foster of Sherman, one sister Velva (Tim) Fletcher of Bath, IL and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Foster gave the gift of life by being an organ donor at the time of his death.
Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 30, 2007 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana conducted by Rev. Robert Smith. Burial will be in the Summum Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
