Diane Marie Dorethy (1952-2008) Diane Marie Dorethy, 55 of Mason City died at 12:12pm, Friday, January 11, 2008 at her residence. She was born December 17, 1952, the daughter of Eugene H. and Joann (Clarence) Giehl in Lincoln. She married Paul D. Dorethy June 16, 1973 in Mason City. Survivors are her husband Paul; two daughters: Stephanie L. (Peter) Ramsay of Naperville, Taylor J. (Stan) Fangmeier of Easton; her parents: Eugene and Joann Giehl; three brothers: David (Pat) Giehl of Murfreesboro, TN, Michael Giehl of San Diego, CA, Ted (Bethanne) Giehl of Worcester, MA; two sisters Judy (Don) Smith of San Jose, Mary (Mike) Moos of Sherman; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dorethy graduated from Mason City High School, a member of St. Columba’s Catholic Church in Mason City, Euterpeon Society, Community Choir, Historical Society and was her church organist for several years, and also worked for the 1st State Bank in Mason City. Services for Mrs. Dorethy will be 11:00am Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at the Hurley Funeral Home, Father Liable will officiate. Visitation will be Monday January 14, 2008 from 5-7. Memorials may be left to Memorial Hospital Hospice. Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements. Online memorials for the family may be left at www.hurleyfh.com
